JumpTV Collaborates with AETN and Endmol to Offer IPTV
This is good news for subscribers of JumpTV, this company that has been offering international and sports programming has been able to secure content deals with AETN International and Endemol thereby bringing a possible increase in its subscription base.
This agreement would enable JumpTV to carry Endemol's Russian production of Deal or No Deal throughout North America. In a similar manner, the AETN programmes; The History Channel and A&E Network libraries, including Mysteries of the Bible, Ancient Mysteries, The History of Sex, Weapons at War and Modern Marvels would be offered through JumpTV's broadband VOD service.
Arrangement has been concluded to make the programmes available in four other languages and these are French, Italian, Portuguese and Spanish language. The AETN's programming will be geo-blocked and will only be carried out in territories where a good number of immigrant communities for each language reside.
Also, plan has been concluded on pricing, it will be offered through ad-supported free-to-consumer, pay per view and subscriptions models and the paid services will be as low as $0.49 per episode and for those who would be interested in series of episodes it will be available at$5.99.
Also, as part of their marketing plan, the content will be marketed alongside with JumpTV's live sports and VOD content from Portugal, Spain, Latin America, Russia and the Ukraine.
